JOIN THE TEAM THAT PIONEERED EDUCATIONAL PERFORMANCES THAT DON’T SUCK!

Energize, engage, and empower college students on campus and online across the US…

You hate lectures. So do we! Our kickass events are high-energy, interactive, engaging, and fun where YOU bring your personality to the experience and make a difference from orientation to graduation.

Collegiate Empowerment (CE) is a nonprofit educational production company providing training and coaching programs, certifications, and licenses to advance education. Since 1995, this dynamic and relatable team has been teaching What Every College Student Needs To Know® over the course of 5,000+ events across all 50 states and 25 countries.

CE seeks to engage Educational Collaborators in this mission to support its partners and clients to make their jobs easier and help them be a hero for their respective communities. That starts with the core business model whereby Educational Performers and Facilitators (YOU!) deliver events in-person and online where the experience is customized, the audience is the star, and the empowerment is guaranteed.

We’re not speakers. We perform, we facilitate, and we coach. Every show is a seminar, every seminar is a show, and every experience is the opposite of a typical podium-style lecture.

Here’s what you need to know

  • This is not just a job. You’ll get industry-leading professional development and training, award-winning certifications, and licenses.

  • Take your training, certifications, and licenses on the road immediately with guaranteed employment and paid placements.

  • We provide a wide curriculum and educational playbook that blend education and entertainment into what we coined “edutainment.”

  • Our Productions Team develops shows and seminars based on industry trends and market demands.

  • The show never stops! Once you are licensed on any show or seminar, you are able to perform it year after year after year!

  • Lastly, you’re joining a Real GPA Culture where everyone is empowered to trust their Genius, fuel their Passion, and fulfill their Achievements. Get used to this language; it will come up almost every day in your life at CE.

This program is the grad school you always wanted, yet never knew existed.

The Collegiate Empowerment Facilitator Certification builds mastery in your performance, facilitation, and coaching mindset, knowledge, and skillset. You will be guided through high-level and customized training throughout your time with us, working with Master Level Facilitators, global content development partners, strategic partners, agency partners, and other CE Performers and Facilitators like yourself. You will be supported by sales consultants to help create opportunities for you. You will lean on our backstage team to take care of client agreements, invoices, and other operations. You are about to embark on a journey to discover learning and development practices that go against standard practice!

Mastery is not knowing everything, it is not perfection, and it is not superiority. Mastery starts with a comprehensive understanding of what it means to be a Collegiate Empowerment Professional on and off stage. It’s about owning the role; being self-motivated, self-managed, and self-directed. It’s complete command over your craft from the consultation and customization to delivery and debrief. Mastery is being recognized as the authority by your audience, your clients, your peers, and your Productions Team.

Just remember, this is not about us and this is not about you. We are mission-driven and hell-bent on advancing education that transforms lives. You may have an incredible story to tell, and we will help you craft that story…after we help the students craft theirs. If you want to be a nationally-recognized speaker, this is not the place for you. This is an organization where the clients we support and the students we serve are the heroes.

  • Expand your talents in how to deliver scripted solo performances in theatres, auditoriums, multipurpose rooms, and sometimes a random gymnasium with audiences of all sizes.

  • Explore the backstage on how we operate, why our shows and seminars are designed the way they are, how to deal with difficult audiences, the types of colleges and universities we perform at, and who our clients are.

  • Learn hundreds of performance tricks as you become a brilliant educator while honing your personal stagecraft.

  • Gain access to the Remote Delivery Guide so that you have everything you need for a great online performance.

  • Provide the audience with what might be their first fun lecture ever...but don’t you dare call it a lecture; it’s an educational performance.

We make a difference.

Why do we hang out with our friends? Why might we think deeply about the gifts we buy for others? Why are we fascinated by our history or our future? Why do we love movies and TV shows? And why do we hate the commercials that interrupt them?

Because our friends, gifts, history, future, movies, and TV shows all tell stories. We dismiss our friends with they tell the same stories over and over are when they have no stories to tell and nothing interesting to say. Gifts feel more meaningful when there is a story behind them. Our history tells us the story of how or why we are here. Our future tells the story of what things could be like based on the decisions we make right now. Movies and TV shows tell stories that we get sucked into because they are seemingly more interesting than the current story of our lives.

Our New Student Orientation shows and our leadership seminars are stories. They are not our stories; they are the stories of the participants. Each participant experiences the seminar through their own perceptions and perspectives, which is why each show or seminar is unique for each participant, because each participant is living and creating their own story throughout the experience.

We are not here to tell our story: we're not famous and no one really cares until we all prove that we're interested in helping them create their story. Our shows and seminars are stories that you help create, define, and improve so that each participant continues to make their story better, understand their past, and dream up and exciting future.

Here’s Amelia, one of our alumni, talking about her experience after her second year at CE.

Our bestselling educational productions are the mandatory ones, which makes sense. That means Maximize Your Buzz (alcohol education), Zero Shades of Gray (sexual assault prevention), Get A Life Outside The Classroom (college success), Grit for College Students (resiliency and college completion), and 1 Reason Why Not (mental health). And yes, we found a way to make all of these mandatory experiences feel like they're not mandatory for the audience!

Right behind the orientation seminars are the leadership ones: You Can't Lead Others Until You First Lead Yourself and The Student Leadership Challenge® Experience and so many more leadership seminars, retreats, and conferences!

Please understand that Collegiate Empowerment is not a "speakers agency". We are an 21st century educational organizational hell-bent on Helping College Students Get What They Want & What They Need. If you are looking for an agency, Collegiate Empowerment is not for you.

This is a place, though, for you to grow and develop and share your genius with the world. Whether your dream is to educate college students and help transform their college experience, or if it's writing, singing, acting, teaching, or something else, Collegiate Empowerment is a place for you to expand your horizons and make a difference at the same time.
