LONG STORY SHORT

Lisa discovered Collegiate Empowerment as a college sophomore and was immediately hooked on the mission! She worked with CE throughout her tenure in Higher Education to bring them to campus for seminars and for her own personal and professional development through coaching and the Collegiate Empowerment Show (podcast). Lisa is someone who takes pride in helping others and after 14 years in Higher Education, what better population for Lisa to work with than those doing what she loves so much.

THE REST OF THE STORY

The day Lisa started college, she knew she wanted to be an RA! She got involved in every area of Student Life that she could and eventually reached her goal! Student Life seemed to be where she thrived. As an RA, Lisa attended a conference where she went to a session on Higher Ed as a profession. That was when she decided to change her path away from music and pursue a career in Higher Education. That led her to grad school and then going on to work in several functional areas of Higher Ed including Admissions, Student Activities, Residence Life, Career Services, Student Leadership, Faculty, and finally became the Dean of Student Life.  After working in Higher Ed, Lisa decided to take a break and become a full time coach while raising her daughter.

Just as she learned about becoming a Higher Ed professional during a conference, Lisa found CE during a conference as well. Lisa worked with CE throughout her Higher Ed career. Tony and Joe became mentors and coaches for Lisa, so naturally when she started her coaching business, she reached out for guidance and that led her right back to CE as an Associate Coach!

Lisa is thrilled to be an integral part of CE working with Higher Education Professionals and students to support them as they expand their educational impact while also remembering to feed themselves with knowledge and personal development.

OUTSIDE OF CE

Residing in central Massachusetts, Lisa is a mom of a very active little girl, two dogs, and her husband (yes, he's a kid, too). Lisa loves her faith and family. You can find her out for a run (while listening to the CE Podcast), boating on the lake, and heading home to Southern Connecticut to spend time with her family.  Outside of coaching, Lisa also continues to be an adjunct professor and teaches religious education at her church.
